This is a great idea, at least for me, since my training tends to be unstable and inconsistent.

Love the idea. Would be amazing if people could log their hrv daily and you could correlate change in hrv with previous training stimulus

It's interesting! I'd say relative exertion depends on several factors other than just the type of the activity:

- how active is the study, e.g. trying to figure out moves on your move during opening, middlegame or endgame study would be difficult, but passively reading a book would be very easy.

- complexity of the task, e.g. solving 20 puzzles with average 30 seconds solving time might be easy, but solving 1 puzzle with 10 minutes solving time would be difficult.

I have also been thinking about this. Considering if adding an option to score sessions with a focus-level could help with giving a better picture of your efforts.

I like the idea.

I wonder if making some of the fields optional or add a “I don’t normally do this” would be good: some fields don’t apply to my training and providing any answer would distort the validity of the results. I would guess that might be the case for others.

this would be interestingt if it could be tied to puzzle set expectience streak. after each puzzle make some note. of if someone knows themeselves well and might even adopt some such exertion policy for some duration. they could keep journalling such things among the other user constrolaable puzzle experience (I am thinking lichess). Is that some chess studies about how good or consistant people might be in the single person longitudinal direction. time of day, duratation of journalling experiemtn.s Is the wikipage about that?
