The book starts with the same idea as the survey I did.

I tried it, but I admit I struggle a lot with the descriptive notation, so reading the "solution" was another task for me ;)
Maybe I should have been extra helpful and translated the solutions 😄
Is the book available in algebraic notation? Looks like an expensive book from my cursory google search.
I think the newest edition is the second edition from 1978, which still is with descriptive notation.
