“They show the vivacious spirit of enterprise and combination proper in a youngster, but lack, naturally, some of the compact, machine-like force which characterises the games of the great masters.”
What an awesome idea and project to take on and publish. Will enjoy these I’m sure and look forward to learning a lot from the posts and games. Thank you
Great idea, really enjoyed this first game. I wonder if Ng5 was the start of his downfall...maybe he thought the kid wouldn't be able to handle the following Nxf7?
Yes, Ng5 must have been part of his plan. Trying to test his opening knowledge. And as he writes "Corzo knew my complete lack of book knowledge, consequently he tried repeatedly to play gambits of this sort"
Awesome looking book (saw the preview). Looks so clean and beautifully arranged :).
Too bad amazon is charging more for transport than for your book :/.
Would you please double your price for a day so I don't feel bad paying 50% more for the transport than for the work itself? I'm not joking .. for getting it to Bucharest it asks for 13 Euros transport and 8 euro the book. Can't help but feel cheated.
This is outstanding. I appreciate the care with which you've done it. The photographs make the post very lively and the Post Mortem section is an excellent idea. I think you should do the same thing with Chernev's 1000 miniatures. It'll take you only 1000 posts!

I just stumbled upon this excellent series and I'm very glad I did! Going on to the next part...
Thanks:) I have taken a little pause but I will soon continue ⏩
Thank you. This is a book I already read twice many years ago. I look forward to reading it again!

Now only a month or so til it arrives.
If they all look that fresh and clean and tidy I promise all your Capablanca books will be on my desk :D.
Very kind of you! Only one Capablanca book so far, my other books are found here: https://www.amazon.com/Martin-B.-Justesen/e/B08RZ722HC

Thanks! 1000 games will only take me 19 years with a post a week 😄
