I have seen this myself. I used to watch Twitch streamers almost nightly, but now, I can't remember the last time I watched a stream, weeks, maybe even a couple of months. Great article!
I think, like most adult improvers, we only have so much free time per day, and out of all the possible chess learning platforms at my disposal, I felt the one I was learning less least from was Twitch. My time could be spend in better ways.
