Plans for 2022 - Book review with Ben Johnson - The Say Chess Newsletter
Martin B. Justesen
Hi,
I hope you have entered 2022 safely! Before New Year’s Eve, I joined Ben Johnson for his book recap show. We talked about Lipnitsky’s classic “Questions of Modern Chess Theory”. A book I had wanted for a long time to finish but I never pushed through. However, with a firm deadline, I succeeded! Maybe chess-bookclubs is not a bad idea?
Perpetual never sleeps! Just wrapped the next book recap pod with @saychess1. Coming out over the weekend. Can anyone guess which book we covered? https://t.co/cgitkr0G4s
The episode is out now, and you can find it on Spotify or other podcast platforms as well.

I have finished the paperback version of ‘Blindfold Opening Visualization’, so now I just need to have checked the proof copy before I hit the publishing button! If you have started on the digital version, please remember to leave a review on Amazon. This will help me a lot.
The next chess book project I’m working on is a tactic series for intermediate players (~1400 Fide rating). I hope to share more on that project in my next newsletter..
Best,
Martin
