Hi!
I got an idea for a new book project, which is a bit dangerous since it has paused my work on ‘Blindfold Opening Visualization’. But I hope you also will find this one interesting too. When I searched for puzzles for ‘Blindfold Endgame Visualization’ I came across a composer whose puzzles caught my eye. It was the American chess player Sam Loyd (1841-1911).
Then I thought it would be an interesting project to make a mate in two book with only Sam Loyd compositions. Here is my idea for the cover:
What do you think about the cover and the idea?
And can you solve this puzzle by Loyd (Mate in two, White to move)?
Best,
Martin
1 Kb3 and every check can be defended with a mate.
Love the idea as endgames have become a favorite tactical study lately. The cover looks great as well. Sounds like the creative juices are flowing with your current detox 😃
